That full moon afternoon, we read «ecopoetry» on a small roof in the church’s atrium next to two large hule trees. We shared some senbei cookies, which my friend from Tsukuba Church, Hayashi, had given me. I hadn’t planned the senbei thing, but it came out naturally, and then I remembered that bread is also made of corn and rice. Thanks to my friend Rita Ponce and the support of Don Andrés Gómez.

Aquella tarde de luna llena leímos ecopoesía en un pequeño techo que hay en el atrio de la iglesia junto a dos grandes árboles de hule. Repartimos unas galletas senbei, que me había regalado mi amigo de la Iglesia de Tsukuba, Hayashi. Lo de las galletas no lo había planeado, sino que salió muy natural, y luego recordé que también el pan es de maíz y de arroz. Agradecimientos a mi amiga Rita Ponce y al apoyo de Don Andrés Gómez.
